Hall Saddlery was founded by Carol Hall in 1950. Originally started in his garage, he expanded the business to include English and Western apparel and equipment with two stores in the Milwaukee area.

In1976, Hall Saddlery was sold to Laacke & Joys, who combined the stores into one all-inclusive store on Bluemound Road. During this time, the store began to sell the trendy urban cowboys fashion of the time and less horseback riding equipment. Then in 1996, Laacke & Joys and Hall Saddlery were sold to a group headed by entrepreneur Marsha Mather. They returned Hall Saddlery to a store catering primarily to the active horseback rider. Over the past six years, Hall Saddlery has turned into a growing business known for outstanding service and quality products.
